As a member of the Kentucky plumbing industry, I am concerned that there may be future efforts to replace KRS318, the Kentucky Plumbing Code, in favor of a national plumbing code not supported by the Kentucky plumbing industry.
KRS318 has been protecting the health and safety of Kentucky citizens for well 70 years. Our code is written and maintained by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction and supported throughout the plumbing industry.
I strongly support the continued use of KRS318, the Kentucky Plumbing Code.
